It’s that time of year, and we’re here to help with gift ideas! Thursday 6th December is late night shopping night in Crickhowell, and there will be plenty of craft stalls selling a variety of items. Llangattock Community Woodlands will have a table, stocked with our own honey, beeswax polish, beeswax decorations, wooden plant labels, decorative wooden stars, Christmas cards, and charcoal.
In other news: this week we started work on siting a wooden bench alongside the ‘Llangattock Redwood’ . The tree came second in the 2017 contest for Wales’ Tree of the Year competition, run by the Woodland Trust. It attracts visitors from far and wide – soon they’ll have somewhere to sit as they look up at this giant!
