Another Welcome to the July 2017 edition of our regular SEWBReC update, full of information to encourage wildlife recording.
Cefn Ila BioBlitz and Recording Field Day 8th & 9th July
Don’t forget that you can join SEWBReC and the Woodland Trust at Cefn Ila, Usk this coming weekend to discover the wildlife of this lovely site. Saturday (11am – 11pm) will include a bird walk, moth trapping, bbq and bat walk. Sunday** (9am – 3pm) will be an opportunity for specialists to visit the site on a quiet day and look for more unusual species.
Both events are drop in, so you can stay as little or as long as you like. You can find further details on our website, please get in touch if you have any questions.
**Please note, Velathon road closures on Sunday will make access more difficult, please get in touch if you would like travel instructions.
Maerdy Recording Field Day 29th July
